Following the International Commission of Jurists - European Institutions (ICJ-EI) discussion on the right of Judges to be independent with Carlos Ayala, I am pleased to share with you the most recent episode of our Judicial Independence Podcast. The Podcast is organised as part of our ROLL project, seeking to promote independent and effective judicial system to protect fundamental rights. 

Questions to Carlos Ayala, ICJ Vice-President and former member of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, are asked by Karolina Babická, ICJ Senior Legal Advisor, Gábor Hacsi, Legal Officer and Rule of Law expert at Amnesty International Hungary, Radmila Dragicevic-Dicic, Supreme Court Judge in Serbia and ICJ Vice-President, and Itziar Gomez, Lawyer at the Constitutional Court of Spain. In Episode 7, Carlos Ayala shares his expertise regarding the Inter-American Court case-law on judicial independence, the implementation of decisions in the Inter-American human rights system and on the need for further dialogue among human rights courts globally.
